EGYPT - SINAI PENINSULA - RED SEA

INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMME
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS
Mystical Pyramids - Information reception workshop
Cairo - the capital of Egypt, founded in 969. Throughout its history, Cairo has absorbed several cities of different eras. The favorable strategic position between the valley and the Nile Delta contributed to the emergence of settlements on the territory of modern Cairo in ancient times. Among the ancient Egyptians, there were legends that there was a war between the gods and brothers Gore and Seth. Cairo is located just north of the place where more than 3 thousand years BC. e. was Memphis - the capital of the ancient Egyptian kingdom. At different periods of its history, the city bore two names: El-Qahira (“invincible”) and Umm al-Dunya (“Mother of the World”)
White and Black deserts - the workshop of finding inner harmony and state of Samadhi
The White Desert in Egypt is unusual and diverse rock formations in its bright white surroundings. The fantastic shapes of Farafra’s White Desert are the result of millions of years of erosion of this chalk by wind and by sand blown in from the Great Sand Sea. Encounter the Khoman chalk ridges created from the sediment of marine creatures deposited in the bed of a vast ancient sea. A similar but rather white, chalky limestone is the source of the ice-white bricks used all over the Western Desert, north to south, as building material for structures that will last only a tiny fraction of the aeons the stone took to form. A layer of harder limestone dating from the later Eocene period forms a pink crust over the surface of the chalk. The marvelous contours of this pale landscape are an unforgettable vision in one of the most spectacular of all deserts. Unlike its neighbor the White Desert, the Black Desert is in stark contrast with volcanic shaped mountains. The mountains and floors are scattered with small volcanic black stones lying on the orange and brown colored sands. it is possible to climb the soft peaks with lovely views across the desert area and take some picturesque photographs. The Black Desert is a ‘passing through’ point due to no facilities around as it is totally uninhabited. The landscape is of secluded plains with the dunes (small mountains) being of different sizes and formations. Rather than being considered as mountains, they are more like volcanic cones rising out of the desert.
The majestic temples of ancient Luxor- workshops for Second Sight and Claircognizance
Known as the world’s largest ‘Open Air Museum’ for its sheer number of ancient sites Luxor (which was the old Capital known as Thebes) has an extensive array of treasures ranging from the famous Valley of the Kings, where the tomb of King Tutankhamun located, hundreds of other Tombs, Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Ramses Temple.
Karnak Temple has many functions,It also an important acted as an intellectual centre, a spectacular complex of Temples, Chapels, Pylons, Obelisks and Sanctuaries covering more than 400 ha. Every pharaoh of note built, destroyed, enlarged, embellished or restored part of the complex to express his devotion to Amun. In the process, Karnak became one of the largest and most magnificent Temple complexes in the ancient world.
Dendera, originally called Tentyris, was one of the most important religious centers in ancient Egypt. It is situated on the west bank of the Nile, south of Qena in Egypt. The city was rendered sacred by three sanctuaries: the Sanctuary of Horus, god of the sky and protector of the pharaohs, the Sanctuary of Ihy, the young sistrum-playing son of Horus, and the Sanctuary of Hathor.
The magic bay of Ras Muhammad and the wish fulfilling lake - workshops for relaxation and correction of the happening
Ras Mohamed National Park has stunning views across the Red Sea. It is a beautiful place set up to protect marine and land wildlife and maintain the natural beauty of the area. Ras Mohammad encompasses two islands, Tiran and Sanafir. Tiran Island is located approximately 6 km offshore from the Sinai Peninsula. Underwater caves formed as the result of earthquakes are located in Ras Mohammad. About two hectares of mangrove forest cover a 1.1 km shallow channel at the southernmost end of Ras Mohammad peninsula. Near the mangrove and approximately 150 m inland, there are open cracks in the land, caused by earthquakes. One of the cracks is approximately 40 m length and 0.20−1.5 m in width. Within the cracks, there are pools of water, some with a depth of over 14 m.The inland area includes a diversity of desert habitats such as mountains and wadis, gravel and coastal mud plains and sand dunes.
The magical lake - the lake that changes color seven times a day is totally out of this world as it contains all the shades and levels of blue. This lake has an old story that says that Bedouins used to come and swim in its water and throw gems and makes wishes, accounting for its color.
Colored Canyon and Blue Hole - workshops with the Elements
The Colored Canyon in the Sinai Mountains of Egypt is a 5 kilometers long location for hiking and trekking. Nowhere has the ancient ocean left a more brilliant legacy upon the landscape than at the Colored Canyon.
The “red land” and the “black land”, the white sands and brilliant blue skies, the soft curve of the dunes. One area considered to be a vast, unbroken range of desert plains and arid mountains are the central and coastal regions of the Sinai Peninsula, but interestingly it is home to one of the most unique natural features in Egypt. The Colored Canyon is the result of ancient ocean activity across the now nearly water-less peninsula. The Blue Hole is a submarine sinkhole (a kind of cave), around 130 m. deep. The hole itself and the surrounding area has an abundance of coral and reef fish. This hole was the result of a failing star that smashed into the earth in ancient times and caused this huge blue hole that is 100 meters deep with a radius of 50 meters.
